Rep. Ayanna Pressley, known affectionately by Democratic-leaning folks as one of the members of the “Squad”—also known for frightening conservative-leaning folks as one of the members of the Squad—has some motivation to share in these final days leading up to our Nov. 3, election. Speaking directly to the Daily Kos community, Rep. Pressley explained that she felt “resolved and emboldened” this coming election because of the humanistic responses and organization in the face of Trump’s corrupt and callous administration.
But just because we are almost at this one finish line, that doesn’t mean we can let up. Our livelihoods are on the ballot this Tuesday, and we must do everything within our power to make sure that democracy prevails. “It is incumbent upon us in these remaining days and hours to do everything to meet this unprecedented moment, this unprecedented hurt with unprecedented organizing, mobilizing and voting. So let’s get to work and get this done.” As we come down to the final few dozen hours before Election Day, here are some ways in which you can get out the vote, try to motivate and organize people to participate in a most historic moment, and protect the results of this election.
